ABOUT THE SESSIONS
Each block takes inspiration from a variety of artists and mediums. They are as varied as possible enabling the children to explore different ways of working from painting, to textiles, to collage and more! We work large scale on the floor or small at the tables. The sessions are really informal, we set a theme but then go with the flow :)

Here’s a look at what we’ll be getting up to!
14/09 - MINI TREASURE BOOKS
We’ll take inspiration from artist and collector Lisa Congdon to create our own mini treasure book, filling its fold-out pages with drawings, pictures, patterns and tiny treasures, perhaps inspired by things you’ve collected, spotted or enjoyed over the summer! Bring anything to go in it along with you!
21/09 - THE BIG SHOW
We’ll take inspiration from Marc Chagall's colourful circus paintings to create our very own unique performer using painted papers and collage, before adding them to our giant collaborative stage artwork to be displayed at Beam on Sunday 27th for Family Fest!
28/09 - PAINTING WITH FABRIC
This week we’ll take inspo from textile artist Lucy Sparrowand swap our paintbrushes for scissors, using colourful fabrics and felt to create our own tactile artwork to hang on the wall.
05/10 - COLOUR MAGIC
Become an art magician! We’ll have fun exploring optical art and create a clever moving picture that performs its very own magic trick, transforming from black & white to colour before your eyes.
12/10 - GHOSTLY GLOW-UP
Get spooky and creative as we make our very own glowing ghosts, adding funny faces and spooky details before lighting them up and watching them come to life!
COST
£48 for 5 weeks
£12 for a one off session (We’ll release one off sessions nearer the time depending on availability)
